Minor girl found dead inside lover’s house in Odisha’s Ganjam, murder suspected

Berhampur: The body of a minor girl was allegedly found inside her lovers house in Odisha’s Ganjam district on Monday. The incident took place in S Nuagaon village under the Jarada police limits in Ganjam district.

According to sources, the dead body has been identified to be of a minor girl.  Ajay Naik of S Nuagaon married a girl from Samantarapur village 5 years ago. Ajay has three daughters.

However, Ajay has reportedly absconded from home with another girl four months ago. Then he reportedly returned a few days ago to live in the village with the girl.

However, Ajay is suspected to have murdered the girl last night as the body have many injuries.

The police have reached the spot and started investigation. Priliminary investigation reports have suggested that Ajay’s first wife had gone to Bangalore with her child to work as migrant workers. Jarada police have detained Ajay and further investigating is ongoing.
