Two brothers killed in bike accident in Gunupur in Rayagada district, watch

Gunupur: In a tragic incidet, at least 2 persons were killed in a road accident near Gunupur town’s main road in Rayagada district of Odisha today morning. The two lost their lives after their bike collided with a roadside electric pole on the main road near Limamoda.

The deceased persons have been identified as Muna Kimbaka and Krishna Kimbaka who were brothers. They were natives of Nilaguda village under Kadama Panchayat in Gudari block.

According to reports, the two brothers had gone to Gunupur for some work. When they were returning, their bike lost control and crashed into an electric pole on the main road near Limamoda.

As the locals saw this, they called the ambulance. However, local police rushed to the spot and rescued the brothers in critical condition and immediately shifted them to the Gunupur Hospital. However, the doctors there declared both of them dead on arrival.

Gunupur police have seized the bodies and initiated an investigation into the incident. Further investigation of the case is underway.
