A massive tree falls on Puri-Satapada NH-316, road blocked amid Rath Yatra

Brahmagiri: A tree has fallen on National Highway-316 that connects Puri and Satapada near Rebena Nuagaon Medical, obstructing the vehicular movement on the busy road completely.

As per reports, the soil lost its strength following a spell of continuous rain leading to the tree uprooted and crashing onto the highway.

The uprooted tree has inconvenienced many commuters at this juncture as Rath Yatra rituals have been in progress and the highway is busy with devotees.

However, no team of Fire Services reached the location so far to remove the uprooted tree.

The vehicular movement has come to a halt at the spot.
