Bhubaneswar: International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) has drawn fresh allegations for organizing untimely Rath Yatra outside India. Devotees have alleged that by organizing these untimely Rath Yatra, ISKCON is reportedly violating the Lord Jagannath culture and deeply hurts the sentiments of millions of followers globally.

This wave of criticism descended as ISKCON reportedly held an untimely Rath Yatra in New York, United States, on Saturday.

Devotees have urged that the Shree Jagannatha Rath Yatra 2026 should be strictly held on the same day on July 16, 2026. Objections poured in across social media, with critics calling for an immediate halt to the off-schedule celebrations in New York.

Meanwhile, Odia diaspora have expressed deep concern over the untimely Rath Yatra conducted outside the prescribed scriptural timeline.

The controversy surrounding the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) has deepened following fresh allegations of online abuse and personal attacks directed at those opposing its off-schedule Rath Yatra celebrations in New York.
