Bhubaneswar: Women looters are on the prowl in the capital city. Jewellery shops are now on the target of women robbers. Their modus operandi was caught on CCTV camera — they create a crowd inside the shop to loot ornaments.

In the latest incident, jewellery was allegedly looted from Chandrasekharpur Maruti Jewellery. Acting on the complaint, Commissionerate Police have arrested three women.

The CCTV footage of the loot has now surfaced.

According to the police, the women entered the shop on the pretext of seeing mangalsutras and looted gold ornaments. After examining the CCTV footage, Chandrasekharpur Police arrested three women involved in the crime.
