UPESSC PRT recruitment 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has extended the last date for the submission of recruitment application of teachers posts from October 28 to November 4. The last date to modify the application form is November 7. The notification has received revision twice and the application submission date was extended in both of it.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the recruitment through the official website upessc.up.gov.in. The written examination remains scheduled for December 3 and 4.

Under the revised eligibility criteria, candidates who have completed a two-year Diploma in Special Education recognised by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) can apply,

Important dates:

• Last date to apply: November 4
• Earlier application closing date was October 28
• Now correction window closing date: November 7
• Earlier correction window closing date: October 31
• Written examination: December 3 and 4

• Assistant Teacher in urban primary schools under the UP Basic Education Council: 11,508
• Assistant Teacher in affiliated non-government aided primary schools for boys and girls: 897
• Total: 12,405

Pay scale:

• Candidates will be getting a pay of Level 6 from Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400.
