Two die of suffocation inside newly construction septic tank in Koraput

Koraput: Two workers tragically died from suspected suffocation or asphyxiation and lack of oxygen after entering newly constructed septic tank in Odisha’s Koraput dostrict on Thursday. The incident took place in Chandili village under Kotpad police range in Koraput district.
The deceased persons have been identified as Arana Pratiasha of Manchahandi village and Hemanta Thakur of Dhanapunji village. Meanwhile, another laborer who also entered the septic tank is also in a critical condition.

The three labourers fell unconscious after they felt difficulties in breathing while removing the centring of the newly constructed structure. All of them were rushed to the Chandili Primary Health Center, where the doctor declared two of them dead and another remains critical.
The critically injured person has been identified as Padama Bhatra of Dhanapunji village. He is currently undergoing treatment at the Jaipur Medical Center.
