The digital census will utilize mobile applications and a dedicated Census Management and Monitoring System (CMMS) portal to ensure efficient data collection and real-time monitoring. This approach is expected to enhance data quality, reduce errors, and provide faster access to information for policymakers.
The census is expected to generate employment for approximately 1.02 crore human-days, involving around 30 lakh field functionaries. The data collected will be crucial for policy-making, welfare schemes, and understanding India’s demographic and socio-economic landscape.
