13-year-old abducted, sexually assaulted in Sundargada, 6 detained

Sundargada: A shocking incident has come to light, after a 13-year-old minor girl was abducted and gang-raped in the Bandega outpost area under Talasara police station limits of Sundaragada district.

The minor girl is a resident of Chhattisgarh, she had come to Sundaragada to attend a wedding, when she was abducted by some men.

As per complaint, when she went out to attend nature’s call, she was allegedly abducted and taken to a nearby forest and was sexually assaulted. After she returned back home and informed her family about the incident. they immediately approached the Talasara police station.

The police registered a complaint and has launched an investigation. Officials have confirmed that six persons have been detained in this connection so far.

Police have informed that investigation is underway.
