Schools in Odisha to reopen on June 18, says Education Min Nityananda Gond

Bhubaneswar: With the Met office predicting relief from the relentless heat, the Odisha government on Monday announced to reopen all schools including private and government for Class 1 to 12 from Thursday (June 18).

The announcement was made by School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond.

However, the government is keeping an eye on the weather conditions and if the severity of the heat increases, the extension of the vacation period will be considered, the minister informed.
