26-year-old woman kills self on video call at hotel in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A 26-year-old woman kills self while being on a video call with friend at a hotel in Hyderabad, Telangana on Wednesday.

The woman is identified as Renuka, who was married, had a child and was working at a pub and restaurant in Hyderabad.

According to the reports, Renuka checked into a hotel with a man at 3 AM. The man left the room in the morning at around 10.30 PM but the woman stayed. She then ordered dinner during the night.

Later, she called her friend, it was a video call and she killed self while the call was still ongoing.

Following the incident, the police was informed regarding it. The police rushed to the spot, investigated, and took the body for post mortem examination.

A case has been registered by the police. Investigation is ongoing and the CCTV footage of the hotel are being checked.

The woman’s phone is being examined and the man who had checked in with her is being questioned regarding the case.

More details regarding the matter will come out after the forensic and post mortem results come out.
