Jajpur murder case: Wife turns out mastermind, 5 arrested

Jajpur: In a significant development in the mystery of murder of Soumya Sagar, the Jajpur police have arrested five people including his wife Subhashree, who turne out to be the mastermind behind the arson.

On April 6, Soumya Sagar was shot by unknown miscreants near Kalimela of Jajpur district. Soumya later died while receiving treatment. Subhashree had allegedly orchestrated the plan to murder Soumya.

The police has recovered the gun used in the murder from the Baitarani river banks behind the Jajati Keshari college.

The police has taken the arrested accused to the spot of the murder for crime scene recreation.
