Decomposed body of elderly man missing for four days found in Ganjam

Bhanjanagar: In a shocking incident, the decomposed body of an elderly man, who had been missing for the past few days has been recovered from the forest on Monday.

The body was spotted in a firest near Brahmanapadar village under Tarasingi police limits in Ganjam district.

According to sources, the deceased had been missing for the past four days. He had reportedly gone missing after he had left home to collect firewood to the nearby forest on June 11.

The locals spotted his body in the forest and informed the police about the incident.

On receiving information about the body, the Tarasingi police has reached the spot. Further investigation is underway.
