One student dies, 12 injured after falling into septic tank in Rajasthan

Jaipur: 17-year-old student dies and 12 other injured after falling into open septic tank at madrasa in Deeg, Rajasthan
This incident took place when the students staying at the hostel of the madrasa had taken initiative to clean the septic tank which was unused. They fell when they got off balance as they stood on the wooden ladder over the tank.
The victims of the incident are identified as 13 students aged between 15 to 18 years. The student who died was identified as 17-year-old Rohin from Haryana.
Following the incident, the injured hostel students were taken to a hospital for medical treatment. Out of the twelve students nine were discharged after treatment, while the others are still recovering.

After the incident, Police has registered a case and has started investigation the matter.
The negligence is being investigated and to know why the students were asked to clean the tank and if it was safe enough for them to do so, whether the rules were followed.
Further investigation into this matter is underway.
