12-year-old boy killed in sleep during neighbour’s house collapse in Maharashtra

Mumbai: An incident occurred in which a neigbour’s house collapsed resulting in killing of a 12-year-old boy and injuries to two people of the family in Thane, Maharashtra.
The incident took place yesterday and the houses that were involved in the incident include a ground floor house and a one-storey house.
The victim of the incident is identified as Jaykumar Jaiswal. He suffered serious injuries after the incident and was rushed to a hospital but doctor pronounced him dead.

As per reports, two other injured persons are identified as 35-year-old Urmila Jaiswal and 9-year-old Vinit Jaiswal. They sustained head injuries and are undergoing treatment.
The initial investigation revealed that building gallery collapsed and fell on a neighbouring house where a family was sleeping.
Following the incident emergency teams reached the site immediately after the collapse. The rescue operation used 2 fire engines, 1 rescue vehicle, 1 disaster management vehicle, and 1 ambulance.
