Rainfall over the states of Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan is predicted as the monsoon reaches their destinations.

Even after the advancement of monsoon over parts of the country, isolated parts of Uttar Pradesh may continue to experience the prevailing heatwave conditions, added IMD.

Delhi had been enduring sweltering conditions and humid weather for the past several days, however, the arrival of monsoon in the city is said to bring some relief from the intense hot weather.

While the monsoon generally makes its way to Delhi around the end of June, this time around it has made a bit of a delay.
