Bhubaneswar DCP Jagmohan Meena submits resignation

Bhubaneswar: The 2013-batch IPS officer Jagmohan Meena has submitted his resignation letter to the Odisha government, but it has not yet approved by the government.
It has become the most discussed topic among the administrators and police department as Bhubaneswar’s DCP has sent his resignation to the Odisha government.
According to reports, the 2013-batch IPS officer stated that he has applied for leave and permission to resign due to personal reasons and refrained from elaborating more on it.

He had joined as the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Bhubaneswar on February 28, 2025.
Apart from this, Meena has also been DCP Cuttack and Superintendent of Police (SP) Angul and Ganjam. As of now, the state government has not approved the resignation of the IPS officer.
