Bhubaneswar Nayapalli Rape Case: Masked Accused Still at Large, Police Launch Manhunt, Watch

Bhubaneswar: More than 24 hours after the alleged rape of a young woman at gunpoint in Bhubaneswar’s Nayapalli area, the masked accused remains at large. Meanwhile Commissionerate Police have intensified efforts to trace him.
According to reports, the accused allegedly threatened the woman with a firearm and sexually assaulted her. Following the alleged crime, he reportedly tied her hands and legs and damaged her mobile phone before fleeing the spot.
Police suspect that the accused could be a habitual or professional offender. The Commissionerate Police are investigating the case from multiple angles and have formed special teams to track him down.
Three police teams have reportedly conducted raids at several locations as part of the manhunt.
Investigators have obtained CCTV footage that reportedly shows the masked suspect. Police are examining footage from surveillance cameras installed in and around the area to reconstruct his movements and identify him.

Police also suspect that the accused may have fled the area on a bus via CRP Square after committing the alleged crime.
Further investigation into the case is underway.
