Mumbai: The licenses of four Domino’s outlets, three of which are based out of Mumbai, have been suspended by Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration after inspections.
The move comes as a part of a special inspection drive covering 104 chain restaurants in the entire state.
Officials found violations pertaining to sanitation, pest management and general cleanliness, apart from other areas of concern.
There are 3 outlets in Mumbai at Vile Parle West, Borivali West and R-City Mall in Ghatkopar West.

There is a 4th Domino’s outlet at Karad in Satara.
The outlets under suspension would reopen only after the identified lapses are rectified and mandated compliance is ensured.
The broader enforcement drive by the FDA has led to actions against 2 other outlets, a Sapphire Foods India outlet in Karad, after investigations revealed issues in food safety.
