YouTuber gets robbed of Rs 10 Lakh after giving home tour in Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal: A YouTuber reportedly got robbed of Rs 10 Lakhs by burglars after she showcashed her house on social media during home tour video in Madhya Pradesh on Saturday.

The incident occurred in Shivpuri district in which unknown people, reportedly burglars broke into the house and took away items like gold, silver jewellery, cash and a carton of energy drink. The total cost of the items was around Rs 8 lakh to Rs 10 lakh.

The victim of robbery is identified as Rachna Gurjar of Mohani village. During the incident, the burglars locked the whole family in a room while they were sleeping, packed everything and left the place. It is also said robbers changed the angles of the CCTV camera when they entered.

Following the incident, a police complaint was lodged and Gurjar gave their statement in which they described what the witnessed.

According to the reports, during the robbery at 4 AM in the morning, the family was asleep and had no idea about the incident. They were left locked by the robbers and when they woke up they asked their relatives to come and open the door.

The local police of the state have registered a case and investigation has taken place to find the accused persons and arrest them.

The YouTuber has more than 1 Lakh followers on social media and this incident took place after she uploaded videos showing her house, jewellery, cash and lifestyle.

In one video, Gurjar filmed her house from the entrance through all the rooms. In another video, she put her valuables like jewelry and cash on a table and recorded them.

It is being believed by the police that these video might have aided the burglars to understand the layout of the house, where the expensive valuables are kept and planned the crime.

This incident gives everyone awareness on why there is no need to be very free on social media and no wealth related flex should be made.
