Man allegedly hacks 4-year-old son to death with sharp weapon in Odisha

Udala: In a shocking incident, a man has been accused of allegedly hacking his four-year-old son to death with a sharp weapn in Purunapani village of Sarat block in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district.

The deceased has been identified as Dumbi Singh.

According to reports, the accused Sohan Singh, the father of Dumbi, allegedly used a sharp weapon to kill his son.

After committing the alleged murder, he locked the body in the room, closed the door and absconded from the spot.

On receiving information, Sarat Police rushed to the village, seized the body and sent it for autopsy.

Search is underway to nab the accused. The reason behind the alleged murder is still unknown.
