Indian techie strangled wife to death in US, sends picture to lover

New Delhi: A 30-year-old Indian techie killed his wife by strangling her to death in United States on October 27, 2025. He has been arrested after nine months he committed the crime on July 5.
The accused is identified as Avinash Narne and the victim wife is identified as 27-year-old Raajitha Sabbineni.
Last year, on the day the crime was committed the accused, Avinash called the police and informed that the wife is inside the washroom and is not opening the door. The Police rushed to the spot and broke into the washroom and Raajitha was found lying on the floor.
Avinash said he had gone somewhere and when he returned this happened.
The case was turned into homicide and said she died from asphyxia due to strangulation.

Following the incident and the arrest it was learned that Avinash had a secret relationship with a woman residing in India. But the man got arranged marriage to Sabbineni on June 5, 2026.
The couple was together even after marriage and the girlfriend of the accused person had also attended the wedding.
On the day of the incident, the messages of Avinash and Raajitha revealed her complaining about the taste of the smoothie. She called it “medicine” and “cough syrup” like taste.
Avinash Narne has been charged with first-degree murder with $5 million bail.
Further investigation into this matter is underway.
