Bhubaneswar: Youth found dead in Apartment in Niladri Vihar

Bhubaneswar: A youth was found dead in an Apartment in the capital city of Odisha on Monday. The incident took place in the Niladri Vihar area under Chandrasekharpur police limits on Monday.

According to reports, the body was recovered near BMC residential apartments at Jalabayu Apartment. While the youth probably has died after falling from a height it is being ascertained in the probe whether he himself slipped and fell or somebody pushed him to death.

Police said it is yet to be ascertained whether the man slipped and fell or was pushed.

Following the recovery of the body, police launched an investigation and sent the body for post-mortem to determine the exact cause of death.

In another incident reported earlier in the day, the body of an elderly person was found at Subhadra Enclave under Mancheswar police station limits. The two separate deaths within a single day have sparked concern and discussion across the city.

Police have registered cases in both incidents and further investigation is underway.
