Software Employee kills self after jumping from Hyderabad hostel

Hyderabad: A 23-year-old software employee from Andhra Pradesh died by suicide after jumping from the terrace of a private men’s hostel in Madhapur, Hyderabad.

The deceased was identified as Yashwanth, a native of Srikakulam district.

He was working at a software company in Gachibowli and had moved into the co-living hostel around 10 days before the incident.

According to police, Yashwanth informed the hostel management that he was unwell on Tuesday before going to the terrace of the building.

He subsequently jumped and sustained severe injuries, dying on the spot.

The Madhapur police registered a case and are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death, including the reason that may have led to the incident.
