OTET 2026 Exam Postponed Again, BSE Odisha announces new date

Cuttack: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha has revised again the schedule for the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) 2026.

As per the latest notification issued by the board, the examination will now take place on July 5, 2026, replacing the previously announced date of June 28, 2026.

The examination will be conducted in two separate sessions:

Paper I: 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM

Paper II: 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM

Candidates are advised to report to their designated examination centres well before the commencement of their respective sessions.

As per the schedule, the OTET and the recruitment exams for RI, ARI and Amin positions were both set to be held on June 28.

The scheduling conflict arose after the OSSSC postponed its recruitment examination from June 20 to June 28 due to unavoidable circumstances linked to the NEET (UG) 2026 examination. The revised date coincided with the OTET, prompting widespread concern among candidates.
