Ama Bus hits father, daughter in Bhubaneswar, duo injured

Bhubaneswar: A man and his young daughter were injured after being hit by an ‘Ama Bus’ that was allegedly travelling on the wrong side of the road in Bhubaneswar’s Mancheswar area.

The duo sustained injuries in the incident. The young girl suffered a fracture in her leg, while her father also sustained injuries.

Both of them were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

As per reports, the ama bus was allegedly moving on the wrong side of the road when the accident took place.

The incident took place after school hours when the father and daughter were travelling along a road in Mancheswar. The bus allegedly coming from the opposite direction on the wrong route, rammed into them.

The angry locals agitated and detained the bus and the driver.The Commissionerate Police is also investigating the incident.
