Ganja weighing 23 kilograms seized in Daringbadi, two arrested

Daringbadi: In a crackdown on illegal narcotics trade, the police have seized 23 kilograms of Ganja and arrested two drug peddlers while carrying out a raid in Kadasa Pata area under the Daringbadi police limits in Odisha’s Kandhamal district on Monday.

According to sources, the police got insider information about the ganja trade from reliable sources and immediately took action to foil the narcotis trade and arrested the drug peddlers near the Baimala stop.

The arrested youths were said to be from Yasbantapur and Kampapur area of Bangalore.

Police have also seized two smartphones and a scooter from them.

The arrested accused will be presented in court soon.
