Man forced to carry wife’s dead body on motorcycle in Jharsuguda, watch

Jharsuguda: In a heartbreaking incident, a man was compelled to carry the body of his wife on a motorcycle as he could not get an ambulance in Laikera in Odisha’s Jharsuguda district.
The deceased has been identified as Jamuna Chhatria, the wife of Naresh Chhatria of Udiapali village in Laikera block.
As per reports, Jamuna was admitted to the Community Health Centre and the doctors pronounced her dead on Saturday.
Following which the family tried to arrange for a Mahaprayan hearse vehicle but it was not made available.

Eventually, Naresh Chhatria carried his wife’s body on his motorcycle from the Community Health Centre to his house.
The locals expressed outrage at the incident and the availability of hearse services in the area and expressed their doubts regarding the state health services.
