2 dead, 6 critical after consuming mango seed pulp in Ganjam

Berhampur:  In a tragic incident two people died and six others are critically ill after consuming mango seed pulp at Mandipanka village under Daringbadi block of Odisha’s Kandhamal district. The victims have been shifted to MKCG Medical College in Berhampur for treatment. A differently-abled young woman succumbed during transfer and another woman died while undergoing treatment. The incident occurred in Gadapur panchayat under Brahmanigan police station limits.

According to reports, the women ate mango seed pulp two days ago and began feeling unwell yesterday. While two of them died, six others now fighting for their lives in critical condition.
