13 killed in Lucknow’s coaching center fire accident, students jump from building

Lucknow: At least 13 people have lost their lives after a massive fire broke out at a building housing a coaching centre in the Aliganj area of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh today.
As per reports, it took around one hour to bring fire under control and rescue the people who were trapped inside. Once the fire was doused off, at least thirteen dead bodies were brought out of the affected area.
The building was located in a commercial area, had pet shop and other stores apart from the coaching centre. It is being reportedly said that several people jumped from the first floor of the building in order to save their lives.

Following the fire incident Police and fire teams and Minister Brajesh Pathak visited the spot to check upon the rescue operation.
Speaking to ANI, Aman said, “There is a library or a computer course institution here. When we reached the spot, we saw thick smoke billowing from the building. We managed to save 5-6 people. After the fire broke out, a man jumped from the building in panic and was seriously injured. There are still some people trapped inside.”
Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath shared his condolences and told officials to reach out to the affected families and give them all possible help.
