Karnataka online gaming addicted teen stabs family and later himself, father and sister dies

Bengaluru: A normal day turned into a horrific incident in which a teenager stabbed his whole family and later turned the knife towards him in Koppal district, Karnataka. Initial enquiry reveals that the boy was online gaming addict.

The accused teenage boy, 18-year-old is identified as Sai Naidu. The victim family members who were stabbed by their own blood were, Yankanna Naidu, Pragati and Soujanya, the mother of the teen.

Following the incident, Pragati was killed on the spot after getting succumbed to her injuries. The father, Yankanna Naidu and mother Soujanya were rushed to the hospital.

Unfortunately, Yankanna succumbed to his injuries in the hospital while having medical treatment. While Soujanya is currently in a very critical condition and is having medical treatment.

As per reports, as the boy stabbed himself after the crime, he also sustained injuries and is undergoing treatment at the same hospital where the other family members were admitted.

Later, local police reached the hospital to question Sai for what lead him to take such a step against his own family.

The investigation team has inspected the crime spot and is investigation the whole circumstances that lead to such a cold-hearted incident.

No official statement has been revealed informing the reason behind the attack and neither the gaming addiction has been proved as the real reason behind the crime yet.

Further investigation into this matter is underway.
