Dhenkanal: A herd of 40 elephants crossed the Brahmani river in Gadasila area under the Sadar range in Dhenkanal district. The Forest Department has shared the thermal camera recording of the herd crossing the river.

The Forest Department personnel install the thermal imaging cameras to keep an eye on the herd. The visual shows the elephant crossing the river.

The video has been posted by the Forest Department on social media platform X. Equipped with new technology, these cameras make it possible to track the movements of elephant herds both day and night.
