Odisha govt appoints 30 State Reviewers under PM SHRI Scheme

Bhubaneswar: Odisha government has reportedly appointed as many as 30 State Reviewers under PM SHRI Scheme, informed School & Mass Education Department.

“ln order to nurture PM SHRI Schools as exemplar institutions in alignment with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 by focusing on the 21 saturation points leading to enhanced learning outcomes and carrying out qualitative and quantitative assessments, the following officers are hereby declared as “State Reviewers” under the PM SHRI Scheme for the respective district as indicated below,” read the notification issued by the Department.

Here are the list of 30 State Reviewers:

  1. Madhusmita Sahoo, the Director of TE & SCERT, is posted as State Reviewer of Ganjam district.
  2. Ananya Das, the SPD of OSEPA, is posted as State Reviewer of Khordha district.
  3. Niyati Pattnaik, the Director of Higher Secondary Education, is posted as State Reviewer of Dhenkanal district.
  4. Mrunal Kanti Das, the Chairman of CHSE, is posted as State Reviewer of Boud district.
  5. Srikant Tarai, the President of BSE, is posted as State Reviewer of Kandhamala district.
  6. Birendra Korkora, the Director of Secondary Education, is posted as State Reviewer of Koraput district.
  7. Smita Rout, the SPD of OAVS, is posted as State Reviewer of Nayagada district.
  8. Girish Chandra Singh, the Additional Secretary, is posted as State Reviewer of Gajapati district.
  9. Sibashis Dhal, the FA-cum-Special Secretary, is posted as State Reviewer of Kendujhar district.
  10. Balamukunda Bhuyan, the Director of Elementary Education, is posted as State Reviewer of Kalahandi district.
  11. Lopamudra Mohanty, the Special Secretary, is posted as State Reviewer of Jagatsinghpur district.
  12. Sambit Kumar Nayak, the Director of TBP&M, is posted as State Reviewer of Jharsuguda district.
  13. Sumita Das, the Additional Secretary, is posted as State Reviewer of Kataka district.
  14. Durga Prasad, the Additional Secretary, is posted as State Reviewer of Sambalpur district.
  15. Bijaylaxmi Patsani, the Additional Secretary, is posted as State Reviewer of Baleshwar district.
  16. Jadumani Mahala, the Additional Secretary, is posted as State Reviewer of Mayurbhanj district.
  17. Bhagaban Behera, the Additional Secretary, is posted as State Reviewer of Balangir district.
  18. Diptirani Sahoo, the Additional Secretary, is posted as State Reviewer of Puri district.
  19. Bhabani Prasad Mishra, the Additional Secretary, is posted as State Reviewer of Subarnapur district.
  20. Sangita Behera, the ADG of OSEPA, is posted as State Reviewer of Nabarangpur district.
  21. Jasmine Patnaik, the Joint Director of OSEPA, is posted as State Reviewer of Kendrapada district.
  22. Subhrabala Behera, the Secretary of CHSE, is posted as State Reviewer of Anugola district.
  23. Saroj Kurrar Behera, the Secretary of BSE, is posted as State Reviewer of Rayagada district.
  24. Ramesh Ch. Sethi, the RDE of Berhampur, is posted as State Reviewer of Nuapada district.
  25. Amulya Pradhan, the Vice-President of BSE, is posted as State Reviewer of Malkangiri district.
  26. Susmita Sahu, the RDE of Bhubaneswar, is posted as State Reviewer of Bhadrak district.
  27. Bandana Mohapatra, the Additional Director of DSE, is posted as State Reviewer of Baragada district.
  28. Amita Pattanaik, the Additional Director of OSEPA, is posted as State Reviewer of Jajpur district.
  29. Nibedita Pany, the Additional Director of DSE, is posted as State Reviewer of Debagada district.
  30. Akrura Barik, the Vice Chairman of CHSE, is posted as State Reviewer of Sundaragada district.

According to the School & Mass Education Department, the designated State Reviewers shall conduct planned, comprehensive review visits with respect to progress of activities under the Scheme particularly the development of student competencies. They are requested to submit reports highlighting achievements, best practices and specific gaps, if any, identified during the visit on PM SHR portal.

Consequent y, SPD, OSEPA shall facilitate the creation of profiles for the designated State Reviewers on the PM SHRI portal and ensure the timely assignment of the respective PM SHRI schools to them for review. Furthermore, SPD, OSEPA shall nominate a dedicated point person to coordinate with the state Reviewers who will facilitate all necessary cooperation to State Reviewers to ensure the smooth execution of their duties.
