Higher Education Department issues statistics Report for 4 year ITEP Courses

Bhubaneswar: Higher Education Department of Odisha government on Wednesday reportedly released the Statistics Report for 4 year ITEP Courses (2026-27).

The list of the waitlisted applicants with their waiting rank was published at 2 PM today. The admission statistics are as follows:

Total Sanctioned Seat Strength: 1,500
Total students applied: 10,647
Total Students admitted in 1st round: 546
Total Students admitted in 2nd round: 713
Total students admitted till now: 1259
Except the 210 applicants who have already been admitted to their firstpreference HEIs, all other applicants are eligible to participate in the 3rd (Spot/Waiting List) Round Admission Process for their remaining upper choice HEIs.

Admission Schedule:

07.2026 & 31.07.2026: Waitlisted applicants shall report physically to their preferred Higher Education Institutions for submission of the Common Application Form (CAF) along with the required documents to participate in the Waiting List Admission Round. The interested applicants must appear in person; however, a representative with valid lD proof may also be permitted to report on their behalf.
08.2026: The concerned HEIs shall prepare and publish the merit list of the reported waitlisted applicants on their Notice Board. Selected applicants shall complete the admission process by reporting to the respective HEIs on 03.08.2026 and 04.08.2026 during the prescribed reporting hours.
Commencement of Classes: The 1st year classes shall commence from 01.08.2026.
