Odisha CM joins devotees at Puri Rath Yatra, inaugurates Tanka Torani distribution centre

Puri: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today joined lakhs of devotees for the world famous Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath and his siblings in Puri today.

On this occasion, the CM also inaugurated the Tanka Torani Distribution Centre at Singhadwara and personally served the traditional beverage to devotees and pilgrims visiting the holy town.

The initiative was aimed at providing relief and hospitality to the large number of devotees attending the festival.

Majhi also met renowned playback Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam, who was present in Puri for the Rath Yatra celebrations.

Later, the Chief Minister, along with Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati, Deputy CMs Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida and other distinguished dignitaries, offered prayers and had darshan of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra on their respective chariots.
