Ganjam: Khallikote MLA Purna Chandra Sethy was allegedly pushed by some people while visiting cyclone-affected areas in Ganjam district. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media.

According to reports, the incident took place at Kumari village junction on the Purushottampur-Huma road when the legislator was touring areas affected by the recent cyclone.

The viral video reportedly shows some people pushing the MLA during his visit.

Reacting to the incident, Sethy remarked that this was the kind of reception he ultimately received during his visit to the affected areas.

However, the legislator downplayed the incident, saying that many people were going through difficult times following the cyclone and its aftermath.

He said that some individuals might have acted emotionally because of their suffering and distress.
