BJD Supremo Naveen Patnaik on 7-Day Visit to Delhi, Odisha’s Interests Likely to be Discussed

Bhubaneswar: BJD Supremo and Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik has left for Delhi today on a 7-day visit. According to reports, he has gone to Delhi for personal work. However, with the upcoming Monsoon Session of Parliament in mind, speculation is rife that Naveen Patnaik may meet top national leaders in Delhi.
BJD leader and former minister Ashok Panda said that the BJD supremo may meet senior leaders and discuss several issues related to the development and public interest of Odisha.
It is also learnt that the BJD will strongly raise the demand in Parliament and the State Assembly for the immediate and full implementation of the 33% reservation for women.
