Youth Murdered Following Altercation in Rourkela Sector 6, Police Probe On

Rourkela: In a shocking incident a group of youth has allegedly hacked a youth to death in Rourkela, in Sundergarh district of Odisha today. The incident took place in the slum area of Sector number 6.

The deceased has been identified as Tofan.

According to police, Tofan had a dispute with five other youths after a drinking session. The argument turned violent, and the five youths allegedly slit Tofan’s throat, killing him on the spot.

The accused fled the scene after the incident.

After getting information Police reached the spot and launched an investigation. A manhunt is underway to nab the absconding accused.
