4 injured after 7.2 magnitude earthquake strucks Japan, no major damage or tsunami risks

New Delhi: At least four people got injured after a strong earthquake with 7.2 magnitude struck Japan. Earthquake was witnessed in Iwate coast of Japan during the morning hour, shook north-east and Tokyo.
The earthquake was of 7.2 magnitude which was upgraded from a magnitude of 6.9. It struck at the eastern coast at a depth of about 50 kilometers.
If the intensity of the earthquake is even six it is impossible to stand or move normally. It can make people crawl on the floor and unfixed furniture move from its place.
As per reports, it also affected Hokkaido and Akita, Fukushima, Miyagi, and Yamagata prefectures, as well as Tokyo.

Following the incident it is said that no major damage was reported and there was no tsunami alert issued in the country.
The authorities urged People in strongly affected areas to stay alerted or after shock or earthquakes of similar magnitude.
There were no immediate casualties reported after the incident.
Further investigation into this matter is underway.
