Five injured as Hyva crashes into passenger bus in Anugola

Anugola: At least five people were injured after a Hyva truck hit a state transport corporation (OSRTC) passenger bus in Odisha’s Anugola on Thursday.

The mishap occurred in front of Bhagirathipur on National Highway-55 near Jereng village under Jarapada police station limits.

As per reports, the bus of OSRTC was on its way from Chhendipada to Athmallik and was boarding passengers.

While the bus was picking up passengers at Bhagirathipur Chhak, a Hyva truck, coming from behind hit it.

Following which, five people were hurt.

Commuters rushed to help and the injured persons were taken to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH), Anugola by ambulances and police vehicles.

Police are currently investigating into the cause of the accident.
