New Delhi: The bail application of former CGPSC chairman Taman Singh Sonwani has been dismissed by the Chhattisgarh High Court.

Sonwani is being prosecuted in connection with the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) question paper leak case.

The High Court, while rejecting the bail application, held that an offense committed through a question paper leak can indeed be “more heinous than that of murder” for it can wreck the lives and aspirations of innumerable students.
