ECoR Introduces Puri-Solapur One-Way Special Train; Check Route, Timings and Stoppages

Passengers travelling from Odisha to Maharashtra will have an additional rail travel option this week, with the East Coast Railway (ECoR) announcing a one-way special service between Puri and Solapur Junction to cater to rising passenger demand on the route.

Train No. 08445 Puri–Solapur Junction One-Way Special is scheduled to depart from Puri at 11:45 pm on Friday, August 7, and is expected to reach Solapur Junction at 4:15 am on Sunday after completing the journey across multiple states.

To improve connectivity for travellers en route, the special train will stop at several key stations, including Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Vizianagaram, Duvvada, Vijayawada Junction, Guntur, Nalgonda, Secunderabad, Wadi and Kalaburagi.

The East Coast Railway said the additional service has been introduced to meet the growing travel demand between Odisha and Maharashtra while offering greater convenience to passengers heading to these destinations.

The train will run with a total of 22 coaches to accommodate passengers across different travel segments. The composition includes 13 Sleeper Class coaches, seven General Second Class coaches, and two Luggage-cum-Divyang Friendly coaches.

ECoR has advised passengers to check the latest train schedules and operational updates through the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) or official railway enquiry platforms before starting their journey.
