The IMD has urged residents, especially in red and orange warning districts, to remain vigilant. Low-lying areas may experience waterlogging, and rivers could see a sudden rise in water levels. Meanwhile, the water levels of major rivers such as the Baitarani, Vamsadhara, Nagavali, and Jalaka are continuously rising.

In some areas, river water levels have crossed the danger mark. Due to heavy rainfall, houses have collapsed and agricultural lands remain submerged in many places.

Farmers, fishermen, and people in vulnerable regions are advised to take necessary precautions and follow official updates from local authorities.
