Odisha Govt Reshuffles IAS Officers, Dr Poma Tudu Appointed Director of Agriculture & Food Production

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Tuesday effected a reshuffle at the IAS level, assigning them new responsibilities across key departments.

The orders were issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department on October 27.

Dr Poma Tudu, IAS, currently Additional Secretary in the ST & SC Development, M&BCW Department (with additional charge of Commissioner, Food Safety, and MD, TDCCOL), has been appointed Director, Agriculture & Food Production, Odisha, with additional charge of Managing Director, Odisha State Cashew Development Corporation Ltd.

Sangram Keshari Mohapatra, IAS, who was holding the charge of RDC (Southern Division), Brahmapur, along with additional responsibilities including RDC (Northern Division), Sambalpur, and Chairman (I/c), Western Odisha Development Council (WODC), has been posted as RDC (ND), Sambalpur, retaining the additional charge of Chairman (I/c), WODC.

Shubham Saxena, IAS, the outgoing Director of Agriculture & Food Production, has been appointed Vice-Chairman of the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA).

Dr Gavali Parag Harshad, IAS, who recently joined the state government after repatriation from central deputation, has been appointed Managing Director of the National Health Mission (NHM).

Vijay Amruta Kulange, IAS, Director of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services (with additional charge of MD, OMFED), has been posted as RDC (Southern Division), Brahmapur.

Chakravarti Singh Rathore, IAS, Director of Technical Education & Training, has been given the additional charge of Director, Horticulture

Pranati Chhotray, IAS, Additional Secretary in the Home Department, has been appointed as Managing Director of the Odisha State Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation (OMFED).

Subra Kumar Panda, IAS, Director of Soil Conservation & Watershed Development, has been given the additional charge of Managing Director, Odisha Agro Industries Corporation Ltd.

The appointments have been made by order of the Governor of Odisha and will come into effect as per the government notification.
