Four-year-old kiled in front of mother after being run over by mini truck in Umerkote

Umercoat: In a tragic incident, a four-year-old was killed in front of his mother after he was ran over by a mini truck in near the old bus stand in Umarkote in Nabarangpur district of Odisha.

According to reports, a woman from the Koigaon area under the Dongariguda Panchayat in Jharigam Block, was walking along the road with her three children when a mini truck approaching from behind suddenly struck her four-year-old son. The severe impact left the child critically injured on the road.

Local residents quickly rushed the boy to a nearby hospital in a critical condition. However, the attending doctors declared him dead on arrival.

The police have seized the mini truck and detained the driver for interrogation as part of their ongoing investigation.
