Odisha vigilance raids Forest Ranger’s properties in DA case, searches underway

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance on Tuesday conducted raids simultaneously at four places pertaining to Rabindra Kumar Nayak, Forest Ranger of Kendrapada Forest Range under the Cuttack Forest Division, in connection with alleged disproportionate assets (DA).

As per reports, search warrants for these raids were issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Cuttack.

The operation was launched by a team of five DSPs, nine Inspectors, five ASIs, and supporting staff, in both Cuttack and Kendrapada districts.

The properties under scanner included Nayak’s four-storied residential building at Munduli-Godisahi, Baranga police limits in Cuttack, his ancestral house at Sahadapada in Banki, his chamber at the Kendrapada Forest Range office and his rented house in Kendrapada.
