ONGC recruitment 2026: Applications open for 3,047 Apprentice Posts; Check eligibility, stipend and last date

ONGC Recruitment 2026: The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) has invited applications for 3,047 apprentice vacancies across 24 work centers in India.

The online application process began on October 29, 2026, and eligible candidates can apply until November 20.

The recruitment is announced under Advertisement No. ONGC/APPR/1/2026, and it offers opportunities across technical, vocational and graduate-level disciplines.

Candidates who have completed Class 10, Class 12, ITI, diploma or relevant undergraduate degrees can apply for positions matching their educational qualifications.

Applicants must be between 18 and 24 years of age as of November 29, 2026, with age relaxations applicable to reserved categories as per government norms.

Candidates must also fulfill the specific eligibility and geographical requirements of their preferred work centre.

The selection process will be based on academic merit, with no separate written examination. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.

The apprenticeship training will continue for 12 months. Graduate apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 12,300, diploma apprentices Rs 10,900, while trade apprentices will receive between Rs 8,200 and Rs 10,560, depending on their qualifications.

Interested candidates must register through the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) portal or the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal, depending on the post.

The selection results are scheduled to be announced on December 15. Candidates can visit the official ONGC website, ongcindia.com , for the detailed notification and recruitment updates.

The apprenticeship programme does not guarantee permanent employment with the organisation.
