Srinagar, Oct 22: Member Parliament from north Kashmir’s Baramulla segment, Er Rashid Tuesday urged Government of Jammu & Kashmir to revert academic session to November.

He made these remarks during his visit to Government Degree College Handwara, where he interacted with numerous students and staff members.

The students expressed concerns about the drawbacks of continuing with the March academic session, noting how it has disrupted their academic rhythm and wasted time.

The north Kashmir’s MP assured them that he would take up the matter with the highest authorities in the government to revert the academic session to November. He pointed out that both the ruling and opposition parties acknowledge that the March session has caused significant disruption, and urged the government to promptly announce a return to the November session.
