Retired AIS officers from J&K cadre condole demise of G.M. Thakur

Srinagar, Jan 12: Retired All India Services (AIS) officers from J&K cadre have condoled the passing away of their former colleague and retired IAS officer, G.M. Thakur of Lasjan, Kashmir.

In their condolence message, the AIS officers recalled the services rendered to the public by the late Mr Thakur in various capacities as a senior civil servant and described him as a highly cultured and affectionate colleague.

The retired officers expressed deep sympathy with the bereaved family and prayed for magfirat and Jannat-ul-Firdous for the departed soul.
