Srinagar, Nov 30: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah asked Party MPs to actively raise pressing public issues concerning the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

Emphasising the growing demand for the restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir, Dr Farooq asked party MPs to ensure that this matter receives earnest attention at every relevant platform, said a party press release.

He further asked the Party’s representatives in both the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha to vocally highlight the concerns of minorities across the country. He stressed that safeguarding the rights and dignity of minority communities is a constitutional responsibility and must remain a priority in parliamentary discussions. Reaffirming National Conference’s commitment to the welfare of the people, Dr Farooq said that the party will continue to champion democratic rights, inclusive development, and the restoration of J&K’s political and constitutional status.
